I am 76 years old, who grew up living on a large lake in Central Ontario. I was always around boats of all sizes until we sold our last cottage which predated the current pleasure craft operator requirements. Given the isolation and boredom brought on by Covid-19, I decided to take the BOATERexam.com course for something to do. Starting out I thought I knew a lot about boating but the course proved otherwise. I was completely surprised by the entire process as It was well laid out, very informative and It forced me to not only concentrate but take my time, and utilize the ability to log out periodically for a rest and do some sidebar studying. The final (time limited) Transport Canada exam, was equally challenging and it reminded me of my old university days of feeling under pressure during final exams and always thinking I did worse than I really did. Well it happened again and I passed with a very good mark. Thanks for making me feel like a 20 year old student who thought he was long past his prime. The only down side is that I may now have to spend money and buy a boat. LoL

I was pretty sure this would be lame, like the driver's ed that I took many years ago & that my son is going through now. Instead it was great! The videos are informative, relatively concise, and the full text of each video is there so you can read instead if you prefer that. Highly recommend - I can't really think of a way to make this a better experience.
